Shopify Contact Support - How Efficient is it?
The Shopify customer support is widely praised for its efficiency. Response times are quick, especially for live chat, and most issues are resolved within a single interaction. Their Help Center is continually updated with fresh content, ensuring relevance.
In order to understand the efficiency of Shopify's contact support, we decided to run a small test. We ran tests on three primary modes of contact support: message, Shopify Community, and finally, Shopify chatbot.
- We tested Shopify's message method and, as promised, got a response within 24 hours. This was by far the best one, as we were able to get detailed responses. It functions similarly to the chat option, but the responses are much faster!
- For the same query, we were able to find threads by other Shopify merchants on the Community forum, with numerous responses, making Shopify Community another excellent support space!
- The chatbot feature is quick for shorter queries, and although it gave us a response, it wasn't the most useful one and not the response we were looking for. And yet, it showed us similar articles to learn more, which we believe is the cherry on the cake!
In short, Shopify's contact support is quite efficient, and with more options to get in touch with the support team out there, you know you'll never run out of solutions!
