The PageFly ecommerce page builder 1.0.7 version is out. What’s new and noteworthy?
Finally, PageFly Shopify app 1.0.7 is available for public access with a 3 week delay since the latest PageFly 1.0.6 update with the improvement in the core and release of some new features.
With this release, we focused mainly on improvement of the User Experience of creating and managing pages, plus adding more landing page templates related to promotional activities of Shopify merchants. In addition to these mentioned things, we fixed all major and minor bugs discovered by our test team and customer’s feedback. Now, let’s explore in detail what you can expect to see in PageFly app version 1.0.7.
New page creation workflow
From now, simply click on the icon plus “+” and you’ll see three options to choose from between creating the Shopify page including: regular, homepage or product page. As you probably know, all pages created with the PageFly app are automatically synced to your Shopify store. So you’ll find it in the Pages tab of “Online Store” sales channel.
With creation of the Regular Shopify page, the workflow is trivial, so we ’ll pass this process and take a closer look at the production of the Shopify product page flow and see how it works.
In the video below you can see the demonstration of performance on PageFly with the creation of the product page for Shopify stores. To save time on creating the page itself we assume that we already have regular Shopify page created with the PageFly app and now want to assign the content to one of the existing product pages.
The same workflow is needed for the homepage of your store. As you can see it’s quite easy to build a homepage or product pages. Next, we’ll review the page settings.
The page settings in Manage Pages section
Within the Manage Pages section for each page, you can configure the specific settings, just click on the settings icon in the “Action” column. By default, the page created with the PageFly app will be a “Regular page”.
The page can be assigned additionally to the “Home Page” and “Product Page.” In the dashboard, that page will have the Page Type “Multiple pages,” when you mouse over then the list of assigned type pages will appear. In our example, it’s “Regular page, Home page, and Product page.”
You can view the content of specific page types by clicking on the “eyes icon” and the dropdown menu with a list of pages will be available to select.
Bulk pages editing
When you are just getting started with using PageFly, the total number of pages created with PageFly is not much. However, when you get familiar with the app and build more and more pages, one problem will arise when working with pages in the Manage Pages section. To solve this problem we added the new feature - bulk pages editing.
In this PageFly version you can select some pages or all pages then perform one of the following actions: publish, unpublish or delete.
Filter pages quickly with the search bar
In the list of your PageFly pages, there is the filter and search bar. Just type the name of your page then hit “Enter” on your keyboard. An alternative way is to filter the list of pages by page type. In the screenshot below we filtered Regular and Product pages.
Store’s Header & Footer - Show or Hide
One of the most frequently asked questions is related to hiding or showing the header with the footer. Usually header and footer content are part of the Shopify theme you’re using in the store.
To build a landing page, you have to eliminate “noise” and usually mentioned parts are exactly that “noise.” This feature is available for Regular and Home pages. This feature gives you full freedom for building landing pages for hosting ads traffic. To use it, get access to the page settings at Manage Pages section.
Last, but not least - new video quick tour inside the home dashboard
The new PageFly video tour will show you the app performs and its capability. You’ll quickly learn whether the PageFly app fits your needs or not with building Shopify pages. With this and another video from our team, please enable the Youtube custom caption subtitles, so you can quickly follow the video and get more value.
