What does the AEO optimizer score?

The AEO optimizer scores eight signals that decide whether an AI engine can read, quote and recommend a product page. The score is a flat sum out of 100 with no tier gate, and every signal comes back with a plain-language fix.

Running the check is free and does not use credits. Adding Product JSON-LD is free too. Generating Q&A pairs costs 5 credits, and a generation that fails costs nothing.

Which plans include the AEO optimizer?

The AEO optimizer is in beta on the Optimize plan and above. Free and Builder plans get a 7-day trial with 10 credits, which covers two Q&A generations.

Will a perfect score get my products recommended by AI?

No. The score measures how readable a page is to a machine. AI still weighs brand authority, reviews, and where else your store is mentioned online. A strong page raises the odds; it does not decide the outcome. PageFly cannot read what ChatGPT or Perplexity answered either - Test in AI opens those engines so you can check for yourself.

How fast will AI pick up the change?

Not immediately. AI engines answer from a saved copy of a page rather than reading it live, so a change usually takes days to weeks to show up.

Which pages does the AEO optimizer work on?

PageFly product pages that have a product bound to them - not collection pages or blog posts. It scores the product page PageFly renders. How Shopify lists and ranks products for AI shopping is Shopify's, not PageFly's.

Will PageFly's structured data clash with my theme's?
