Improve Some Elements

Improve Helper for Frontend Elements

  • Move "PageFly Helper script" to "Theme App Extension":
  • The Theme app extension will include all helper JS code for all sections on the page, which will help the page work and improve performance with the current PF version. This is the most important!
  • If the customer still has pages in versions 1 and 2, the theme app extension won't apply to them. These old pages will still work with old versions.

Old version:

New version:

  • Add an alert message in the Dashboard and Editor to ask users to turn on the PageFly Theme Extension if they haven't turned it on.
  • Users can enable the theme app extension right inside the app instead of going to Theme > App embed.

Improve Product Media Demonstration Capabilities

  • Add "media types" for the Main media. There are 2 types: slideshow and single-image
2 types of main media
  • Update UI for Pagination 2 and 3 with media items > 7.
  • The UI can be collapsed or minimized when the width of the main media decreases.

Improve Product Media, Blog Details Image, and Collection Details' Image Loading

Improve the mechanism for loading and displaying image quality on different devices.
Add 3 settings for these elements:
    • Lazy loading: Images are only loaded and displayed when they enter the user's visible viewport. This helps to increase PageSpeed.
    • Eager: Prioritize loading images as early as possible when the page loads. This helps to improve LCP (Largest Contentful Paint).
    • Standard: Improve user experience.
